How Our program Works

What We Do

Our mission is to raise as much money for food banks as possible. We have provided a means for you to choose a food bank in your area to support, doing what you already do and the donation is at no extra cost to you!

By default our travel guide supports Feed Nova Scotia. They collect and distribute approximately seven million pounds of food annually to over 130 member food banks across Nova Scotia. However you may choose to support a particular Nova Scotia food bank by choosing one here and…

  • Clicking on the name of the food bank you would like to support.
  • Once you do that you will be directed to the Free Nova Scotia travel guide with the organization you have chosen showing at the top of the page.
  • Use the travel guide and if you choose to book accommodations, a tour, car rentals, flights and more. We donate 60% of the commissions we earn to the organization that you have chosen.
Please note: The purchase must be completed before any commissions are paid. This means that the product or service you purchase is not returned or not refunded.

Is It Legitimate?

Absolutely! Our main goal is to raise money for food banks in Nova Scotia! We do not take any credit card or personal information from you, unless you sign up for our newsletter.

  • You deal directly with the travel and retail providers such as Viator Tours, Hotels.com, KOA, Vrbo, Disney Cruise Line, and hundreds more retailers for hotels, motels, camping, car rentals, guided tours, theme parks, cruises, clothing, luggage, electronics, B2B and many more categories, (Check them all out here).
  • You can change organizations if you have more than one purchase. After your first purchase find and choose another organization, here, to support with further purchases. You can also do that from any page in the travel guide.

Questions and Concerns?

You may still have questions or concerns. Understandable in a world where scams abound. We are 100% legitimate and are focused to help as many food banks as possible. Contact us at contact@nocostdonations.com, thank you for your support!
